Solenne
A refined, feminine brand identity designed to position Solenne Beauty as a premium, modern skincare brand.

About the Brand
Solenne Beauty is a skincare brand focused on simplicity, quality, and considered self-care. As the brand prepared to launch, it needed an identity that felt elevated, cohesive, and aligned with a more premium audience.
The Approach
The founders of Solenne wanted a brand that would speak to lash lovers looking for something with more edge and sophistication than the pastel-heavy branding that dominates much of the sector. With their industry experience and a bold vision for the product, they needed an identity that would feel modern and striking, but still flexible enough to scale across packaging, digital, and social channels.
From the beginning, it was clear Solenne should avoid feeling like a typical beauty brand. The name itself, with its fluid, lyrical sound, inspired a more elegant design direction — balancing feminine detail with a darker, more dramatic aesthetic. The focus became creating a visual language that captured confidence, individuality, and a sense of allure without relying on overused tropes.
After exploring a range of routes, I developed a design system that combined intricate illustrative elements with a contemporary typographic palette. Solenne’s identity embraced subtle ornamentation and structured layouts, giving the brand a sense of maturity and polish. The addition of packaging mockups allowed the identity to be tested in real-world applications, demonstrating how it could hold its own in a crowded retail environment.

What We Created

Social and marketing assets
The Result
The final identity for Solenne centred around a distinctive wordmark paired with elegant serif typography, supported by a suite of secondary marks and illustrations. Delicate linework and ornamental flourishes provided a romantic undertone, while the colour palette ensured the overall look remained sophisticated and versatile.
To extend the system, I designed packaging that carried these elements seamlessly from digital to physical touchpoints. Custom die-lines, a carefully selected Pantone palette, and versatile logo lockups ensured the brand could scale from product boxes to marketing assets without losing impact.
The result was a brand identity that felt distinctive, technically refined, and highly adaptable, offering a modern alternative to the predictable “soft and girly” look of many beauty competitors. Solenne’s visual system set the foundation for a confident and memorable beauty brand, capable of making an immediate impression in both digital and retail contexts.
